Nissha Metallizing makes metallized paper and wet strength labels for brewers, spirit bottlers and water bottlers. Their value sits in the surface: high gloss, matte, holographic, brushed, linen or pinhead, each one catching light in its own way. A flat image on a screen never shows that.

So instead of modelling a shape, we modelled the material. Our mixed reality team built custom shaders, textures and parametric material models, and put them into an interactive 3D viewer and configurator. Users rotate the bottle, switch finishes and see the effect under realistic light.

Brand owners, printers and design agencies can now judge that effect for themselves, wherever they are.
