Not every configurator has the same job

• A visual configurator, or 3D product configurator, shows the product from every angle in the right material and finish.
• A quote configurator ends in a request, so your sales team receives a complete brief instead of an email with a photo attached.
• Configure to order is the shift away from engineering to order: the configuration becomes the order itself, with the bill of materials, the CAD files and the cutting lists that used to be made by hand.

Connecting your configurator to your business

Most suppliers stop when the customer clicks confirm. That is usually where the work starts. We connect the configurator to the systems you already run: the order lands in your ERP with the right article numbers and delivery terms, every configuration becomes a signal in your CRM, product data comes from your PIM instead of a spreadsheet, and production files go straight to the floor. Work that used to happen after every order is already done by the time the order exists.

A configurator is a cross-disciplinary project. Our product designers deliver the 3D files. Our digital designers design the interface. Our extended reality designers bring it together in an environment that is technically connected to the rest of your processes. Those three roles rarely sit in one building. And because we have spent more than thirty years designing physical products, we understand why one option exists and another does not, and where your product rules will start to fight each other.

Your product does not have to exist yet

A configurator is usually seen as a sales tool. It is also a research tool. If you are still developing a range, you can put options in front of real customers before you commit to tooling, and learn which combinations people pick and what they are willing to pay for. The same tool then moves to your website once the product is real. We will not always build the prettiest configurator. We build the one that works in every process in your company, and that people find easy to use.
