Every product has its specific requirements like durability, strength, ingress protection, power consumption, etc. For bikes to be permitted on European roads, they all need to comply to specific ISO standards, ISO 4210. Electric Power Assisted Cycles (EPAC) have the ISO 15194. Speed pedelecs (L1e-B) & high-powered cargo bikes (L1e-A) should comply to the type 168/2013 regulation. And for racing bicycles there are the UCI regulations.

Our specialists support customers through this certification process or pre-compliance testing for mechanical and electronic components. We rely on computer aided simulations, in house prototyping and test facilities. Evaluations and verifications are common practices during every stage of the design and development process.
