Most construction sites still run on diesel generators. The Neargrid Compact offers a clean alternative: a battery powered unit that delivers quiet, emission free energy. It absorbs peak loads with fast discharge and smart charging, so a site depends less on the grid and on diesel. Its energy management system also works with other energy sources, so a generator runs less when one is still needed.

On a site full of containers and machines, the Compact had to stand out. Our designers gave the housing a look that tells you from a distance: this is a Neargrid.

What happens inside counts just as much. Batteries need the right temperature to perform well. Our engineers ran thermal simulations on the enclosure, to get the heat management of the housing right.
