Some areas in the city of Turnhout risk to become degraded. To counter this, the city launched a large project called ‘Veerkrachtig Stadshart Turnhout’. As part of this project, we were asked to help small shop owners in these areas to gain more from their business. Because their growth also enhances the overall feel in the area.

We teamed up with 4 ethnic shop owners to innovate their business. At the end of the design track, each shop received advice and assets to take action right away. These ranged from small things such as redesigned window stickers or mail scripts for business development, to larger-scale advice such as construction plans for a shop expansion.
