Green Lung was built for the moon. It is a bioreactor with microalgae that takes CO₂ from the air and turns it into biomass and fresh oxygen. One day, it should keep a lunar base supplied with oxygen.

Redwire Space asked us a question closer to home: where could this technology work on Earth?

We mapped commercial applications in private and public spaces, and made visualisations so every idea was easy to picture and discuss. Then we researched and validated the market potential of each application, to find the ones worth building.

From there, our industrial designers and engineers helped them develop a working demonstrator. Today it cleans the air at the science park in Niel.
