Zonhoven wanted to transform their existing town hall into a public house: a place designed around the citizen, not around the institution.

Our service and spatial designers worked closely with staff across departments to define what citizen-centred service actually means in practice. That vision then shaped the spatial redesign of both front and back office, moving towards activity-based working with clear accountability and a shared culture code.

The design is finalised and we are following up with the contractor during construction to make sure the vision is implemented as intended.
