Helping Inti VZW grow a dance-based care method into a scalable, recognised practice.

Introduction

Professional dancers training care workers

"Stil Bewogen" starts with a simple idea: that touch and movement can reach people with dementia in ways words no longer can. Inti VZW had the method. What they needed was a clearer story, sharper processes, and a path to reach more care organisations.

Highlights

A sharper brand story that speaks the language of care decision-makers, without losing the poetic core of the work.

A complete journey map of the Stil Bewogen programme, with clear roles, touchpoints, and recommendations for operational improvement.

A communication toolkit built for two distinct audiences: care workers who live the practice, and directors who fund it.

Key challenge

Turn a proven artistic practice into a scalable care programme.

Stil Bewogen started outside care. Professional dancers connecting with people through movement and touch, and participants responded very positive.

When Inti VZW saw the potential for residential care facilities, the question shifted: how do you bring an artistic practice into a sector with different rules, different decision-makers, and a different language? The method was promising. The path into care was not yet clear.

Research, structure, and communication. In that order.

We started by understanding how care organisations make decisions. Who signs off on a programme like Stil Bewogen? What do they need to see? What questions do they ask before they say yes? Through stakeholder research, we mapped the full decision-making process inside residential care facilities (WZC), from first contact to contract.

At the same time, we looked at the internal workings of Inti itself. Using journey mapping, we documented all touchpoints across the programme: from onboarding a new care facility to completing a training cycle. We identified where the process ran smoothly and where it created friction, for both Inti and their partners.

From there, we helped shape a clearer brand identity built around the core idea of "Stil Bewogen." We formulated key messages that communicate the value of the programme in terms care organisations actually use: staff wellbeing, resident quality of life, team cohesion, and practical tools for daily care.

We also supported the development of impact visualisation materials and surveying tools, and produced two video shoots: one focused on the caregiver experience, one showing the interaction between caregivers and residents.

Finally, we explored what expanding beyond the residential care facilities context would require, looking at schools and other care settings as potential next steps.
