Lathouwers, wholesaler of potatoes, wanted to launch a new product, a potato puree, focused on true convenience. Our service designers put this idea to the test and conducted market research into customer needs, which helped to determine the scope. The result showed that consumers valued convenience more than taste or local production but they had a different need: "I hate peeling potatoes and just want them on the table within 15 minutes." This changed the scope to easy an delicious potatoes with skin, brought to the market under the umbrella brand Presto Potato.
